JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — This story has been updated to reflect details released in a report on Jan. 29.

A youth baseball trainer is in custody after the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office said he molested children he was coaching in 2020 and November, according to an arrest report.

Julio Acosta Morgado, 38, was charged with two counts of lewd or lascivious molestation, lewd or lascivious exhibition and five counts of felony sexual battery.

The report said in the fall of 2020 Morgado gave a player he was coaching at his house a massage, inappropriately touched his genitalia and buttocks, and entered the shower unannounced. He also gave one of the victims oral sex "more than 10 times."

His arrest report also says a victim accused him of undressing them on the massage table and touching them sexually, before they were able to get away and leave.

Morgado denied the accusations on Nov. 15, 2023, the report said.

On Nov. 14, officers received a tip from another youth about Morgado sexually battering him more than 10 times.

Morgado was arrested Nov. 18 at his home without incident, the report said.
