Tampa police are searching for 2 suspects including the one pictured, as he's accused of being involved in an altercation after a Nardo Wick concert.

The alleged attack happened at approximately 1:17 a.m. on Monday, the post states. On Wednesday morning, police released a new photo of a suspect, citing tips from the public. The photo of another man previously released as a potential suspect was determined not to be involved, the police department said.

Police say a man tried to approach the rapper whose real name is Horace Bernard Walls, for a photo after his concert had ended, however, people who appeared to be in his entourage, punched the man. He was immediately taken to a hospital outside of Hillsborough County where the report was later made, Tampa police said.

The incident was captured on camera and was posted on various entertainment blogs and outlets on X, formerly known as Twitter. The man who was attacked has been identified as 20-year-old George Obregon Jr., according to a Facebook post made by his mother and by a statement posted from Walls following the incident.

The video first begins with Obregon approaching Walls and then it briefly pans away for a second. When the video goes back on Obregon, two people stand in between him and Walls and then someone from behind Obregon, punches him.

"Chill, chill, chill!" Walls said after Obregon was punched the first time.

Next, as Obregon was dazed yet still stood upright, another man who stood between Walls and Obregon initially, began to punch Obregon multiple times. The video then ended after Obregon hit the pavement and Walls can be seen trying to push off or engage with the second man who punched Obregon.

After the incident, Obregon's mother, Michelle Obregon posted a statement onto Facebook using graphic language saying, "she was sick to her stomach" and stated that "my son wanted a stupid f***in picture with his favorite artist!!!!"

Michelle's full Facebook post can be read below:

First Coast News' Tampa station, WTSP-TV spoke with Michelle outside the hospital where her son is recovering on Tuesday.

"To say my son is in this situation for a simple selfie is just mind-blowing," Michelle Obergon said. "We cannot say with a brain injury where he can be in a week, two weeks, a year, five years. The brain has to heal on its own."

Michelle told WTSP her son is now recovering from a serious concussion and brain bleeding, but he's conscious.

Walls also posted on social media following the alleged attack, issuing an apology to George in saying that he doesn't condone what happened "in any type of way" and that he "can't control another grown man['s] actions." His full apology posted on his Instagram account can be read below, too:
