JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — A 38-year-old man is dead after a shooting early Wednesday morning in West Jacksonville.
Officers responded to the shooting in the 3500 block of Hyacinth Street just before 5 a.m., according to the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office.
When police arrived at the scene, they found a 38-year-old Black man suffering from multiple gunshot wounds, JSO said. First responders took the man to the hospital where he later died.
At this time, police do not have any suspects in custody, police said.
