JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — The Jacksonville Sheriff's Office reported Monday that an officer was involved in a crash on Atlantic Boulevard.
The accident occurred just before 11 a.m., when an officer was responding to a call with lights and sirens on. The officer was driving westbound on Atlantic and collided with a Toyota Corolla driving northbound on Century 21 Drive.
JSO is working to figure out who is at fault in the accident. They are investigating who had a green light and who had a red light, as well as if the civilian driver was properly yielding to the officer.
Both drivers sustained minor injuries.
