Jacksonville police looking for man, woman accused of robbery and credit card fraud

The Jacksonville Sheriff's Office is also looking for a white car they say the pictured man exited from when the alleged robbery occurred.

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — The Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office says it is looking for a man, woman and vehicle after an alleged robbery happened recently in the city's Mandarin area.

JSO says the robbery occurred in the 3300 block of Laurel Grove North, but did not say when it allegedly happened.

A man told police that as he was standing in front of a residence in the area, an unknown Black male approached him and took his wallet, JSO states in a news release. Police say the unknown male then fled the area on foot in an unknown direction.

JSO says follow-up investigation revealed video of the unknown male exiting a white car near where the alleged robbery occurred.

The release states that a short time after the robbery occurred, the unknown male was captured on surveillance video in a local business using the victim’s credit card to purchase items. A woman who police have also identified as a suspect, was with the male suspect as "he used the stolen credit cards and is believed to be the driver of the white sedan," according to the release.

Anyone who has information in reference to the identification of the man, woman or vehicle is asked to call JSO at 904-630-0500 or email them at JSOCrimeTips@jaxsheriff.org. To provide information anonymously and be eligible for a reward up to $3,000, contact Crime Stoppers at 1-866-845-TIPS.
