JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — A Jacksonville man was shot during an argument over the custody his child Tuesday, according to the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office.
Around 5:30 p.m., police responded to the 5200 block of Seaboard Avenue, where a man had been shot. His injuries were not life threatening.
The victim had a single gunshot wound, according to police.
JSO says the victim and his child's mother were in a dispute over custody. The dispute "escalated" and a friend of the mother shot the victim, they said.
All parties are in custody. JSO is still determining whether or not there will be any arrests made.
