JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — Police are investigating a shooting death in Spring Park that left a man dead, according to the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office.
Officers were dispatched to the 3100 block of Belden Circle regarding reports of shots fired, the agency said. Officers found a man suffering from a gunshot wound inside of a home. The Jacksonville Fire & Rescue Department pronounced the man dead at the scene.
There were other occupants inside the residence at the time and they were detained by officers and are cooperating, JSO said.
