Jacksonville Beach Police Department seek shirtless man who fired gun near Third Street gas station

JBPD said the man fired one shot into the ground and five more toward a vehicle and several homes while walking west on 16th Avenue North.

Police said a shirtless man fired multiple shots after taking a handgun from a maroon Dodge Charger at a Third Street Circle K.

JACKSONVILLE BEACH, Fla. — The Jacksonville Beach Police Department is searching for a man they say took a gun from a car at a gas station and fired multiple times.

On Sept. 7 around 1:57 a.m., police said a shirtless suspect was involved in an altercation with an "unknown white female" at the Circle K located at 1628 Third Street N.

Police said the suspect removed a handgun from a maroon Dodge Charger and walked west on 16th Avenue North. The suspect then took the handgun from his waistband and fired one shot into the ground.

He also fired five more times west towards a vehicle and several residences, police said.
