PONTE VEDRA BEACH, Fla. — This story was updated on May 3 at 6:36 p.m. to reflect that police now say the victims were stabbed.
Four people were stabbed at a shopping center in the 100 block of Valley Circle in Ponte Vedra around 4:30 p.m. Saturday, police said. The suspect in the stabbing is in custody.
All four were taken to the hospital, with one victim life-flighted.
Officials have not confirmed the exact location yet. However, employees of Mr. Chubby's Wings say the incident took place nearby.
Police could be seen interviewing employees outside of the restaurant.
Fire Rescue was not able to disclose the condition of the four injured people.
