JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — Update: The Jacksonville Sheriff's Office said the heavy police presence at a Jacksonville Westside motel is in reference to the execution of arrest warrants and a drug investigation.
There is a heavy police presence at a Jacksonville Westside motel Wednesday afternoon.
Several Jacksonville Sheriff's Office vehicles were observed around the Jax Inn motel, located near Lane Avenue and Stuart Avenue.
The Jacksonville Fire and Rescue Department responded to the scene in reference to a medical call, according to a spokesperson, though no one has been taken to the hospital.
