JACKSONVILLE, Fla — A man died in Jacksonville's Brentwood neighborhood after the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office said he was found shot inside a white SUV Tuesday afternoon.
JSO said the man was found on West 41st Street near Main Street at around 2 p.m. He was pronounced dead at the scene, according to police.
The sheriff's office said the shooting appeared to have happened somewhere else in the Main Street area and that the victim drove himself to a relative's home after being shot.
JSO said the events leading up to the shooting are unknown.
