JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — A man is expected to be OK after a shooting in the College Gardens area Tuesday afternoon, according to the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office.
Around 2:15 p.m, officers responded to 100 King Street regarding a person shot.
JSO says an adult man rushed to a nearby hospital with non-life-threatening injuries after suffering a gunshot wound to his face.
JSO's initial investigation revealed the victim was shot after disputing with an unknown man.
Currently, there is no description of the suspect. Police say the victim is receiving medical treatment and is unable to provide any further information.
Violent Crime Detectives are on the scene and it’s an ongoing investigation.
