New evidence reveals how a former church counselor may have groomed his alleged victims, according to prosecutors.
Ronnie Hyde is charged with murdering a teenage boy and dismembering his body.
In court documents obtained Tuesday, prosecutors say there was a pattern in how Hyde groomed young teens.
Court documents say each boy was 16 years old or younger, and he met them all at Strength for Living Church. At least two of them came from troubled homes.
Documents also show Hyde bought gifts for the young boys and took them on trips.
Prosecutors are fighting to make sure jurors hear this information.
The defense is fighting to have it thrown out.
Hyde has not been charged in any other case.
