CLAY COUNTY, Fla — A school crossing guard who was employed by the Clay County Sheriff's Office was fired after he was arrested Saturday.
The sheriff's office said Johnny Ray Long was arrested for an incident on Aug. 2.
He's accused of exposing himself in front of a woman at Vystar Credit Union located at 1768 Blanding Blvd. Long was not on duty at the time of the alleged incident.
"The sheriff's office remains dedicated to upholding the highest standard of professionalism and integrity in law enforcement practices. By taking swift action in this incident, the sheriff's office reaffirms its commitment to selflessly serving and protecting all members of the community," the sheriff's office said on Facebook.
