Case report in Jared Bridegan's ex-wife's arrest released

The report says the Jacksonville Beach Police Department was in Washington, where Shanna Gardner was arrested as a fugitive.

WEST RICHLAND, Wash. — The video attached to this story is from a previous, related report.

The case report from the West Richland Police Department in Washington, where Jared Bridegan's ex-wife was arrested for his murder, has been released.

The report shows that Shanna Gardner was arrested as a fugitive from justice at her home in West Richland, Washington, on August 17. 

The Jacksonville Beach Police Department accompanied Washington police to Gardner's home to execute her arrest warrant. 

According to the report, JBPD also attempted to interview Gardner at the West Richland police station.

She was extradited to Jacksonville on Oct. 20 and is booked into the Duval County Jail on charges of solicitation to commit a capital felony, conspiracy to commit murder and child abuse, according to jail records.

She is accused of taking part in an elaborate scheme to murder Bridegan. On the night of his murder, he was leaving her home in Jacksonville Beach (where she lived at the time), having just dropped off their two shared children.

In addition to Gardner, her second husband, Mario Fernandez-Saldana and a man named Henry Tenon were also charged in the murder.

Tenon pleaded guilty to his role in Bridegan's death.

The arresting officers reported wearing their bodyworn cameras during the arrest. This footage was released to First Coast News on August 18. This footage is attached below.
