ST. AUGUSTINE, Fla. -- Deputies say arson is to blame for the fire that ripped through a mobile home in St. Augustine early Saturday, displacing a mother and her two children.

Deputies and firefighters were called to the home, located in the 500 block of Colee Street, about 4:20 a.m. Saturday, according to the St. Johns County Sheriff's Office. When they got there, the home was engulfed in flames.

Neighbors helped a mother and her two kids escape, but deputies say the family lost everything they owned in the fire.

The State Fire Marshal's Office determined the cause was arson, saying someone must have started a fire on the side of the home.

To report any information you have about the case, call Crime Stoppers at (888) 277-TIPS.
