PALATKA, Fla.- A man who police say has passed several counterfeit bills at Palatka businesses has been arrested.
Palatka Police say Daniel Jason Smith used a counterfeit $20 bill at a Sunoco gas station on July 27. On the 29th, police says he attempted to buy items from a Family Dollar store using a fake $100 bill. On August 2, police say he used a fake $20 at a Kangaroo station.
He faces multiple counts in both the city of Palatka and Putnam County.
