JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- U.S. Marshals on Tuesday arrested a man in Winter Haven who is charged in a fatal shooting that happened at a Jacksonville nightclub in September.
Deputy Marshal Silvestre Del Rosario said Lenard Anderson, 36, was arrested on a warrant in the death of 21-year-old Brandon Green.
According to the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office, Anderson and Green did not know each other. Green reportedly gave Anderson a disrespectful eye and the two bumped shoulders.
Anderson then reportedly shot Green in the head one time. JSO said the two men did not know each other prior to the incident.
The shooting took place around 4 a.m. and JSO told First Coast News at the time that they would be investigating why the club, which closes at 2 a.m., was open that late.
