JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — A shooting around 12 a.m. left six injured at a pop-up club in the city's Brentwood area, according to the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office.
Officers responded to 3100 N. Main St. about a shooting, police said, and six victims were taken to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
The victims, two women and four men, have ages that range from late teens to early 20s. Their injuries ranged from the abdomen, buttocks, calf, hand and thigh, JSO said.
The agency said the victims were leaving an after hours pop-up club when the shooting occurred and police said two to three shooters were firing. JSO said it's unclear whether the victims were "targeted or caught in the gunfire."
"Crime scene unit detectives are processing the crime scene. Violent crime detectives responded and are actively canvassing for witnesses and video surveillance," the release stated. "The investigation is ongoing."
