Wanted: 3 suspects accused of breaking into St. Johns County business, causing $30K in damage

The St. Johns County Sheriff's Office is asking the community for help locating the three suspects.

ST. JOHNS COUNTY, Fla. — The St. Johns County Sheriff's Office is asking the community for help locating three people accused of burglarizing a St. Augustine business, costing thousands of dollars in damage.

On July 28, deputies responded to a burglary at ABC Supply Company on Dobbs Road. Surveillance video showed three suspects jumping a fence, and once inside, the suspects were seen rummaging through merchandise.

Deputies say the suspects cut holes in the walls and into the business' safe, stealing $500 in cash and credit cards. The cuts in the wall left a waterline broken and flooded the business. The incident left behind an estimated $30,000 worth of damage, according to the SJSO.

The suspects fled before deputies arrived, but abandoned a black Ford F-150 truck at the scene.

Deputies say investigative efforts found the suspects had driven from Miami to St. Johns County to commit the crime.

Anyone with information regarding this crime is asked to contact SJSO's non-emergency number at 904-824-8304 or email crimetips@sjso.org, or to remain anonymous, call Crime Stoppers at 1-888-277-TIPS.
