PIERCE COUNTY, Ga. — A 21-year-old man died in the Pierce County, Georgia jail on Dec. 30.
The Pierce County Sheriff's Office and the Georgia Bureau of Investigation confirmed the death Monday.
The sheriff did not give details on how the inmate, Ethan Taylor, died, saying GBI is investigating.
Jail logs say Taylor was only in custody for two days at the time of his death.
He was arrested for drug possession, violation of probation and for having a firearm as a convicted felon.
