JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - "Pray for sweet Lucy."

That is the message sent out by the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office in a "Behind the Badge" Facebook post Thursday.

Lucy is the daughter of JSO officer Casey Sembach. JSO revealed that Sembach and his family found out some bad news before Thanksgiving: Lucy had a brain tumor and had to have surgery to remove it. The post further explains that Lucy had a successful surgery on November 21 and that she is now at an inpatient rehabilitation center.

Lucy just celebrated her 2nd birthday, but JSO explains she still has a long road of recovery ahead of her.

Lucy and Sembach are now asking for the public's prayers: "Please take a moment to pray for sweet Lucy."
