City Council unanimously approved the name change of EverBank Field Tuesday night to TIAA Bank Field.
The news of the name change came earlier this year, and TIAA Bank acquired EverBank last year after reaching an agreement in August 2016.
The City of Jacksonville bill summary states “Section 7 of the Naming Rights Agreement authorizes the Naming Rights Sponsor to change the Stadium name. Jacksonville Jaguars, LLC has already consented to the request.”
No word yet on the status of the sign at the field, or when it will change.
