What if you could get an iPhone X for $50? An Xbox for $30?
These deals sound too good to be true, but these deals are real and out there if you know how to find them and don't mind a high-risk, high-reward investment.
Every day, millions of items are returned to companies like Amazon, Walmart or Target. Some of those products, like an iPhone X that normally costs about $1,000, end up at companies like Liquidation.com. This company re-sells returned items through online auctions. Often times, it's in bulk.
For example, you can get a crate of five TVs for under $100 or 17 iPhone X's for as low as $850. That's $50 per phone!
But you may be thinking: "Why would I need 16 extra iPhones?"
With a little work and a little luck, you could unload them all for a profit, which means your $50 phone could actually end up being free!
Of course, there's a catch: The condition of the item is a return, so the items aren't inspected and may not be functional.
The site says because iPhones are returns, they're only minimally inspected and there's no guarantee they'll work.
You'll also have to pay for shipping. Depending on the size of the crate, you could be paying a few hundred bucks for shipping.
Overall, these sites are primarily designed for re-sellers. If you don't mind a little work and a lot of risk, you could get some pretty good deals.
