JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - An Orange Park woman is $1 million richer after she won the grand prize from a Florida lotto scratcher.
The winner, identied as Oanh Tran, 39, won after playing World Class Cash Scratch-Off, a new Florida scratcher game that launched late February. Florida Lotto officials say she is the first to claim a million dollar prize.
Tran purchased her ticket from the Kangaroo Express at 8496 Blanding Blvd.
She opted for the one-time lump-sum payment of $748,000. The Kangaroo Express received a $2,000 bonus commission for selling the winning ticket.
