ST. JOHNS COUNTY, Fla — Buc-ee's, the Texas-based convenience store set to open in St. Johns County in February 2021, is now accepting applications for full-time jobs at the new location near World Golf Village.
Described as "Texas' wonderland of convenience stores," Buc-ee's starting pay for full-time workers is $15 to $17 per hour, according to a company representative.
"We're accepting applications NOW and no worries - we will train!" the company said in an email. Paid time off, 401K and other benefits are offered for those interested in a career at Buc-ee's.

The convenience store is set to be 52,600 square feet, with 120 gas pumps. Buc-ee’s generally do not allow 18-wheelers to fill up on gas there, as they are more for personal vehicles.
Several homeowners in the area have protested the store's opening, but plans continue to move forward for the location just southwest of International Golf Parkway at Interstate 95.
The store is known for its clean bathrooms, assortments of snacks (including "beaver nuggets") and beef jerky, and sales of electronics and food dishes. It’s a giant gas station that will trump the size of the Gate, Daily’s and Race Trac convenience stores you might be accustomed to on the First Coast.
