Pizza Cave in Five Points is transitioning to a private event space.

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — Pizza Cave's last day in operation will be Feb. 3, its owners have announced on social media, as the venue transitions to a private event venue.

Known for its unique interior design and artwork, Pizza Cave opened in 2020. It's run by the owners of Sun-Ray Cinema, two doors down on Park Street. Some of the menu items were named after Jacksonville's film history, landmarks and officials.

"As stewards of this natural Pizza Cave wonder we've decided it best to segue from a dine-in spot to strictly a private event space. Birthday parties in the cave? Yeah! Live shows? Maybe!" the post said.

Parties with booking the Cave can reach out to gatekeeper@sunraycinema.com.
