Hyper-luxury car model Bentley is bringing a dealership to the Jacksonville area, the company announced during a news conference.
The announcement was made Monday afternoon at the Prime Osborn III Convention Center and will add yet another option for those looking to drive in high-class style.
“We are excited to expand into a vibrant Jacksonville market and bring a new and extraordinary ultra-luxury automotive offering to its residents,” said Mario Murgado, president and CEO of Brickell Motors, the dealership group behind Bentley Jacksonville.
The dealership marks a new level of luxury and convenience for the region, a news release said, citing that Northeast Florida will expect something unlike any other car dealership, because a Bentley “is not just a purchase, it’s an experience.”
Bentley Jacksonville will be a full-service dealership located on Bonneval Road and will likely open its showroom doors in 2019. This opening will align with the U.S. access to Bentley’s newest vehicles such as the Bentayga and a Bentayga Hybrid.
Mayor Lenny Curry expressed his delight Monday with the upcoming opening of the dealership.
“I am delighted to join fellow community and business leaders in welcoming Bentley Motors to Jacksonville,” Curry said. “ As mayor, I am committed to supporting the vitality of our city, and am very pleased to position Jacksonville alongside Bentley’s prestigious car brand. Bentley’s presence certainly adds momentum to our growing economy.”
Currently, the closest Bentley dealership is 144 miles away in Orlando, according to Bentley’s website.
