After much anticipation, the Wisconsin-based restaurant chain, Culver's, will be celebrating its grand opening in Middleburg on Monday.
The restaurant, located at 1767 Blanding Blvd., will be holding a ribbon-cutting ceremony from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. The first 50 guests will receive free custard for a year.
This location marks the first Culver's for Northeast Florida. Last month, the company told First Coast News that it is already looking ahead and planning future locations in the area. It is currently reviewing options at the Collins Town Center in Duval County, as well as areas in St. Johns County.
Culver's is known for its famous Butter Burgers, frozen custards and cheese curds. Click here to view the menu.
