JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — A popular Oregon-based coffee chain is bringing its beans to Jacksonville.
Dutch Bros Coffee is opening its first Jacksonville location on Friday.
The new drive-thru coffee shop, located at 5733 Roosevelt Blvd., will offer specialty coffee, its own exclusive energy drink and cold brew, along with smoothies, lemonades, teas and more.
To celebrate opening day, Dutch Bros customers can get a medium-sized drink for $3.
The new location will operate from 5 a.m. to 10 p.m., Sunday through Thursday, and 5 a.m. to 11 p.m. Friday and Saturday.
Originally founded in 1992 in Grants Pass, Oregon, Dutch Bros has more than 950 locations across 18 states.
The company plans to expand throughout Jacksonville, with other coffee shops slated for Argyle Forest Boulevard, Baymeadows Road and San Jose Boulevard.
Dutch Bros opened its first Northeast Florida location in St. Augustine in August. The company is eyeing another St. Johns County location on Race Track Road, plans filed with JEA show.
