JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — Chick-fil-A is expanding its Jacksonville footprint with a new drive-thru-only location.
The Georgia-based chicken sandwich chain acquired a permit Monday to initiate the construction process at a location in East Arlington.
The job cost is $800,000 for the 2,468-square-foot building. There will be two lanes and four walkup windows, in addition to space for 32 parking spaces, the design review said.
It will be on 1.06 acres west of the Kernan Boulevard Walmart. The contractor is Duluth, Georgia-based, WH Bass Inc.
There are at least nine Chick-fil-A locations in the Jacksonville area.
