JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — First Coast News celebrated three Emmy awards at the 48th Annual Suncoast Regional Emmy Awards 2024 on Saturday.
The Suncoast Chapter of the National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences is a nonprofit Florida corporation "dedicated to excellence in television."
First Coast News Anchor Heather Crawford was awarded for her work in two categories. Her piece entitled Child Abuse or Medical Condition? won in the Investigative - Single Report category and her series on Waiting for Rebuild won in the Investigative - Multiple Reports category. First Coast News Photographers Nick Moron and Cole Echevarria were also awarded for their work on the projects.
First Coast News Anchor Lewis Turner won in the Military - News (no production time limit) category with his K9s for Warriors Saving Lives piece.
