JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — You've heard about artificial intelligence impacting everything from education to healthcare, but what about an AI gym?
One just opened in Jacksonville this month and First Coast News is on your side to check out what an AI gym is and what the workout is like.
Exercise equipment at the gym called The Exercise Coach has a screen. The owners explain, using artificial intelligence, the equipment learns your strength level and then shows you how much strength you need to exert during each exercise to get the best workout. The screen shows a graph and you have to exert enough strength during the exercise to stay within the lines of the graph.
"These machines are aware of your level of strength and using artificial intelligence, they work with you in real time to challenge you constantly," said Co-owner Chaz Repak.
Repak says they're excited to bring this new AI gym to Mandarin, located at 6100 Greenland Road, suite #802.
