JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — "Hamilton" fans are warned to avoid third-party websites claiming to sell pricey tickets to the popular Broadway play coming to Jacksonville.
A spokesperson with the FSCJ Artist Series told First Coast News that websites Jacksonville-Theater.com and OnlineCityTickets.com are falsely claiming to sell tickets to the play for hundreds of dollars.
"The following sites are claiming to have tickets and they DO NOT," said Amanda Scott, Marketing/Special Projects Coordinator for FSCJ Artist Series. "Unfortunately, many people do not know this and pay prices that are nowhere near what the actual prices will be."
Scott says the FSCJ Artist Series is the officials place for Broadway in Jacksonville tickets, which include "Hamilton: An American Musical" playing at the Times-Union Center from March 17, 2020 to March 29, 2020.
