JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — Lionel Richie is bringing along "one of the best-selling bands of all-time," in Earth, Wind & Fire on an extension of his 'Sing A Song All Night Long' tour, coming to VyStar Veterans Memorial Arena in May, according to a news release.
Following a "highly successful" 2023 where 20 dates of the tour were sold out, according to Live Nation Entertainment, Jacksonville was selected among 13 new concert dates for 2024. The Jacksonville concert will take place on May 25, the release states.
Richie, 74, who has been nominated for 32 Grammy awards and won four, is known for hit tracks such as "Endless Love," "Lady," "Truly," "All Night Long," "Penny Lover," and more. Meanwhile, nine-time Grammy award-winning R&B group Earth Wind & Fire, is known for songs such as "Let's Groove," "September," and "Reasons."
Presale tickets will be available starting Wednesday, Jan. 17 at 10 a.m., while general tickets will go on sale Friday, Jan. 19 at 10 a.m. The tour will also offer a variety of different VIP packages and experiences for fans to "take their concert experience to the next level," the release states. Packages vary but may include premium tickets, access to the pre-show VIP lounge, limited edition tour posters, specially designed VIP gift items and more, according to the release.
