JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — First Coast News is keeping a list of Halloween events taking place across the First Coast this spooky season.

From a real paranormal investigation to various trick-or-treat events, there are fun-filled activities people of all ages can take part in.

Sheriff Hardwick's Haunted Jail

St. Johns County Sheriff Hardwick's Haunted Jail Halloween event is back for its fourth year and will be held at the sheriff's office.

The event will feature SJSO's "all-new Alien Invasion," an outdoor movie screen, a "trunk or treat area," games, photo booths, face painting, a merch tent, food and drinks, spooky-themed patrol cars and mingling characters.

The event will be held on two days: Oct. 25 and Oct. 26, from 6:30 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. on both days.

Jacksonville Official Halloween Bar Crawl

The Jacksonville Official Halloween Bar Crawl will be a "spooktacular night of bar-hopping."

The event will be held at four different venues in the city's Riverside area on Oct. 26, beginning at Graffiti American Burger Bar. It will feature adults dressed in their costumes, holiday-themed drinks, music and more!

The event will be from 4 p.m. until midnight.

13th Floor Haunted House

Tickets for the 13th Floor Haunted House in Jacksonville range from $24.99 to $32.99, as the haunted house will be open from Wednesday, Oct. 23 to Nov. 9, excluding the dates Nov. 4 through Nov. 8.

The haunted house features attractions such as "Clown Alley," "The Nightwalkers," "Lycans Curse," and "Craft of the Midnight," as well as activities like axe throwing and mini escape games.

Murray Hill-O-Ween

Murray Hill-O-Ween on Oct. 26 from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. is a family-friendly event! It will be a Halloween-themed parade down Edgewood Avenue South in Jacksonville.

There will be a beer truck with local brews, a variety of local vendors, food trucks, a pumpkin patch, a kids zone with bounce houses and live music!

Jacksonville Zoo and Gardens' 37th Annual Spooktacular

At Jacksonville Zoo and Gardens' 37th annual Spooktacular event, there will be a "Scare Zone," candy and toy stations for trick-or-treaters, food and drinks and more!

Attendees are encouraged to get into the spooky season spirit by dressing up in costumes.

Click here to purchase tickets for Spooktacular; prices depend on if you're a member or non-member of the zoo. If you buy a ticket a day before, as remaining dates for the event are from Oct. 24 -31, you can save $5.

Note: Animals will not be visible during the event.

Field of Screams

Conner's A-Maize-Ing Acres Farm in Hilliard challenges you to go through the farm's maze (a cornfield) after dark on Oct. 25 and Oct. 26 from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. "without losing your family & friends."

There will be food trucks, dessert trucks, coffee trucks and campfires!

Halloween Costume Comedy Show

The Halloween Costume Comedy Show in Jacksonville will have six comedians doing stand-up performances. It will be held at the Jacksonville Center for the Performing Arts Center on Saturday at 8 p.m.

Attendees are encouraged to dress in a costume, as a $1,000 prize will be given to the person with the "best" one!

The Goddard School's Trunk-or-Treat Festivals

The Goddard School of Saint Johns, The Goddard School of Ponte Vedra Beach, The Goddard School of Jacksonville and The Goddard School of Nocatee will all be having separate "trunk-or-treat festivals for current and future families seeking high-quality early childhood education for children ages six weeks to six years old."

There will be face painting, festive games, airbrush tattoos, pony rides, a DJ, a photo booth and more!

Nassau County Halloween Festival

Nassau County Parks & Recreation's 4th Annual Halloween Festival will be held on Oct. 25 from 5-8 p.m. at the Yulee Sports Complex, located at 86142 Goodbread Rd.

The event is family-friendly, and will feature face painting, hay rides, carnival games and rides, costume contests and more!

The Old Jail After Dark

If you love the rush you feel from riding a rollercoaster or thrill you get from watching a horror movie, then you may experience both at St. Augustine's 'Old Jail After Dark' paranormal investigation.

The event is a "2-hour and 30-minute chilling experience" held nightly that allows visitors to participate in a real paranormal investigation of the city’s "most haunted building."
