Zach Wilcox is a multimedia journalist who joined the First Coast News team in June 2022.
Prior to moving to Jacksonville, Zach was just a few hundred miles up the coast, working for WMBF News in Myrtle Beach, SC. While in the Grand Strand, Zach won a RTDNAC Award for Best Reporter in a small market.
He covered everything from a winter ice storm, to Hurricane Isaias to the constantly booming development.
Zach also worked as a multimedia journalist at WTVY in Dothan, AL. He spent his time there covering the Dothan City School consolidation and plenty of National Peanut Festivals.
When he’s not on a story, you can catch Zach at the movies. Oscar night is Zach’s Superbowl! The other spot you’ll find him is at the beach, catching Jacksonville’s tastiest waves.
He’s also the self-proclaimed world’s biggest Tampa Bays Rays fan, waiting anxiously for a world series victory.
