Jessica Clark anchors the First Coast News 7 p.m. newscasts on ABC 25. She also reports daily.
Jessica has covered St. Johns County and St. Augustine since 2005, longer than any other local television reporter in the market.
Jessica is an award-winning journalist. She has won five Emmy awards for her reporting in St. Johns County. One of her Emmys is for a 30-minute documentary about St. Augustine’s 450th anniversary that she researched, shot, and wrote. She also edited much of it.
Jessica has also received multiple Emmy nominations.
She has covered hurricanes, floods, and tornadoes as well as presidential visits in addition to interviewing entertainers, former presidents, and presidential candidates. And she loves interviewing the locals who make the First Coast the unique place it is.
Jessica is the first journalist to receive an award from the Florida Trust for Historic Preservation for her continuing coverage of archaeology. When time allows, she volunteers with the St. Augustine Archaeological Association on dig sites.
Jessica has been knighted by the Royal Family of St. Augustine.
She is passionate about environmental issues, history, and marine life.
Jessica joined the First Coast News team in 2005. She has been reporting and anchoring since 1997. She has worked in Dothan, Alabama, in Columbus, Georgia, and in Ft. Myers, Florida.
Jessica graduated from the University of Florida with a degree in telecommunication - broadcast news.
Jessica lives in St. Augustine. She grew up in Tampa.
