ORANGE PARK, Fla. — UPDATE: Police have located the child's mother and sister. Because they are minors, the child and his sister's names were removed from this story, as well as their photographs.
The Clay County Sheriff's Office is trying to locate Yanique Kamika Edwards, the mother of a five-year-old boy found unattended at the InTown Suites on Blanding Boulevard in Orange Park. She is pictured below.
Police are also now searching for the boy's 14-year-old sister. There is a possibility she is with her mother. CCSO does not believe they are in danger but wants to confirm both her and her mother's wellbeing.
They found the boy Thursday morning, according to a A Sheriff's Office Facebook post.
