Andrew Willis is a digital content producer for First Coast News. He first joined the station  in 2018 as a digital intern to help with coverage of the 2018 Winter Olympics. He rejoined the team in May of 2024.

In his five years away from the station, Andrew joined the WFLA News Channel 8 digital team in Tampa, Florida from 2019 to 2021. He then moved back to Jacksonville and worked in real estate for three years before returning to the newsroom.

Andrew is a graduate of University of North Florida where he studied Communications with a concentration in video production. His favorite college project was a 10-minute documentary on pickup basketball in Jacksonville. He also worked on the ESPN Plus team filming the Osprey's home basketball games.

Before attending UNF, Andrew received his Associates of Arts degree from Daytona State College. While at the college, he also obtained his Television Studio Production Certificate producing shows for WDSC-TV 15.

Andrew will say UNF moved him from New Smyrna Beach to Jacksonville in 2015, but it was really the Jaguars, as his passion for the team boarders on unhealthy.

When Andrew is not in the newsroom, he's attending Jaguars games, playing pickleball or tennis, going camping or taking Walter, his golden retriever, on a walk.

His favorite stories he's written while at First Coast News include one on the "world's scariest haunted house" and a story about cake.
