ST. JOHNS COUNTY, Fla. — A semitrailer caught fire on Interstate 95 Tuesday afternoon, shutting down all lanes and forcing drivers to use the highway's shoulder to get around as crews responded.
St. Johns County Fire Rescue said the fire was on I-95 South near State Road 207 and appears to have stemmed from a tire fire that spread to the vehicle's trailer. The driver was not hurt in the fire, officials told First Coast News.
Officials said drivers should expect heavy delays in the area.
