A vehicle fire briefly closed the northbound lanes of Interstate 295 near Philips Highway Tuesday afternoon.
The Jacksonville Sheriff's Office, the Jacksonville Fire and Rescue Department, as well as the Florida Highway Patrol responded to the scene, which was reported around 1 p.m.
Lanes reopened around 1:30 p.m.
