A woman is dead after she lost control of her vehicle while traveling on the Hart Bridge Expressway. Janet McBride, 58, was driving near SR 126 - Emerson Street - on Friday at about 1:20 p.m., according to FHP.
Police say they do not know why McBride lost control of her 2000 Mitsubishi Montero. The vehicle flipped over several times after traveling off the roadway and into the grass median, according to an FHP accident report.
McBride was not wearing her seatbelt, the report states.
