The “suspicious package” found at a San Marco condominium on Sunday afternoon was determined to be a sex toy, according to new information from JSO.
The police report states the bomb squad seized a dildo from the package addressed to the Le Baron condominiums.
The entire building was evacuated and numerous people were displaced as a result of the incident.
Police found the package at about 4:30 p.m. Sunday and the package was deemed safe around 9:45 p.m. that night.
The package was found on the ninth floor of the condos and caused concern around 4:30 p.m. Sunday, a JSO spokesman said.
JSO evacuated all 42 units and the bomb squad started working to investigate the package.
A member of the homeowners association said the package had a return address to an ex-tenant who was currently involved in a years-long lawsuit with the association.
The association representative found the package suspicious and called the police.
