A home was scorched in an early morning fire Wednesday in Northwest Jacksonville.
The Jacksonville Fire and Rescue Department responded to a call about a house fire in the 9800 block of Waynesboro Ave. and said the "fire showing on arrival," according to their Twitter account.
Crews say they immediately had it under control.
