ST. JOHNS COUNTY, Fla. — The St. Johns County Sheriff's Office is investigating a body found in a ditch near Rivertown.
The body was found in a ditch off State Road 13 around 5:30 p.m., fire rescue says.
A spokesperson for the sheriff's office says investigators are still trying to figure out how the body got there. They believe the body is of a woman, possibly in her 20s.
St. Johns County Fire Rescue told First Coast News they believe someone suffered a heart attack.
SR-13 is currently closed in the immediate area.
