Huge plumes of smoke was seen coming from an abandoned home on 17th and Main Streets Wednesday night.
More than 20 crews with the Jacksonville Fire and Rescue Department responded to the scene a little after 9 p.m.
Crews say nobody was in the home at the time and that nobody was injured. They said the power was off when they arrived and the State Fire Marshal is now investigating what caused the fire.
