A 76-year-old man died Saturday evening after the car he was driving crashed into a concrete light pole in Flagler County.
Florida Highway Patrol said George Joseph Serafino was driving a 2017 Nissan Rogue east on State Road 100 when he suffered a medical emergency and lost control of the car.
The Nissan then struck a light pole and came to a final rest in front of the Flagler Dodge Dealership on SR-100, FHP said.
Both Serafino and his passenger, 84-year-old Anita Serafino, were rushed to Advent Health Hospital. Anita Serafino suffered minor injuries.
