The Flagler County Sheriff’s Office is searching for a man who allegedly stole thousands of dollars from his uncle in a home invasion style robbery on Tuesday.

Deputies say they initially responded to a report of a home invasion robbery on Pine Grove Drive in Palm Coast. The victim told dispatchers that his nephew Alexander Brown, 20, knocked on his door and once inside, pulled out a handgun and forced him on the ground at gunpoint

Deputies say Brown and two others stole cash, jewelry, and miscellaneous items from the home totaling more than $8,000.

On Thursday, detectives secured an arrest warrant for Brown on the charges of Home Invasion Robbery with a Firearm and Grand Theft with a bond of $110,000.

Brown has not yet been located, deputies say.

Flagler Deputies say that Brown has a history of violence. In August, he was taken into custody under a Baker Act and just two days later was charged with Assault on a Law Enforcement Officer and Resisting Arrest after assaulting a security officer during his stay in the hospital.

If you see Brown, do not approach. Deputies are asking anyone with information on this case or the whereabouts of Brown to call 386-313-4911 or email TIPS@FlaglerSheriff.Com.

You can also call Crime Stoppers at 1-888-277- TIPS (8477) where tips leading to an arrest could be eligible for a reward up to $5,000.00.
