JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — Born in the mountains of Western North Carolina 10 years ago, Wicked Weed Brewing quickly became not only popular in hometown Asheville NC, but all over the southeast and beyond. Their blend of hop forward West Coast styles and authentic Belgian style ales, is beloved throughout the beer community.

In 2017, In-Bev/Anheusier Busch purchased Wicked Weed Brewing, to many complaints. Some fans even poured their beers out in protest. On the upside, the original owners retain control of the beers and the creative process. More importantly, In-Bev/AB is distributing Wicked Weed to a wider audience. And this week, it means us.

As a fun incentive, during launch week you can pick up a passport and get it punched at each event. Get four punches and you are eligible to enter a raffle for a trip to Asheville and Wicked Weed's Funkatorium taproom.

Starting Saturday at the Riverside Craft Beer Festival, you will be able to sample Wicked Weed and pick up a Launch Week Passport. If you aren't attending RCBF, you can grab one at Alewife Craft Beer Bottle Shop on Sunday during Sour Sunday.
